Alcohol + Drug Support

Our AOD team provides free, confidential, one‑on‑one counselling for anyone in the community aged 16 years and over who is seeking support around alcohol or other substance use.

Each person can access up to 10 individual counselling sessions, delivered face‑to‑face by counsellors with a wide range of training and therapeutic approaches. This diversity ensures support can be tailored to each person’s unique situation and goals.

Alongside individual counselling, we also run the Healing Circles Day Centre, a free AOD dependency and recovery support program for adults aged 18+. The Healing Circles operates every Tuesday and Friday and offers a welcoming, non-judgemental group environment focused on connection, skill‑building, and positive mental health and wellbeing. Sessions include group therapy, art/music therapy, shared lunch, and opportunities for individual support between activities.

Both services are fully funded by Country SA PHN and can be accessed by completing our AOD counselling intake form below. The Healing Circles Day Centre is in the Semi Finals in the Rural Doctors Workforce Agency Rural Community Health and Wellbeing Award, which forms part of the 2023 South Australian Community Achievement Awards.
